A themed leisure area adds incalculable value to an accommodation. On the one hand, it lends a unique character to the aesthetics of the resort, and on the other, hours and hours of fun for guests of all ages. For this reason, the SMY Princess of Kos Hotel has trusted us to design and install a very special aquatic leisure project.
This hotel, located on the beautiful island of Kos in Greece, has just been completely refurbished. The main objective of this renovation was to give a new life to its facilities. For this reason, Savia Proyectos has been in charge of creating an innovative aquatic leisure area whose project has been divided into two phases. On the one hand, a splashpark or shallow water play area has been built, and on the other hand, a new swimming pool with several slides and a bubble will complete the aquatic offer of the establishment.
At the design level, a realistic aesthetic has been chosen, based on the exciting Greek mythology. The great protagonists are two hydras fighting for the right to hold the kingdom of heaven. This story has been complemented with a wide range of water effects that provide new and fun experiences for users of all ages.
All the elements have been manufactured in polyester resin reinforced with video fiber by a master sculptor who has recreated the thematic figures with great artistry. The polyurethane paint finish also guarantees durability against inclement weather, water and salinity (given the proximity of the facilities to the sea). Thanks to this laborious process, we obtain a product of the highest quality that will be a great attraction and a powerful tool for the marketing and sales department when positioning the hotel against its competitors.
